Order Wines

Because my 70+ year old Morgon and Fleurie vineyards yield so little fruit, availability for each vintage release is very limited. Once the wines are gone, they’re gone.

To purchase the 2023 Morgon "Bellevue" or 2023 Fleurie "Fonfotin", please download and complete the order form using the link below, then email it to info@DomaineJonathanPey.com to finalize your order. I also have limited releases of my 2022 Morgon "Bellevue" 1.5L autographed Magnum - only a dozen were bottled and I have signed them all!

95 points - Outstanding!

"A sensational wine! A textbook example of a Cru that displays a strong sense of place. Medium deep, violet color, wonderful purity and intensity with the aroma. Red fruit galore: dark cherry, red raspberry, savory spice, and ample weight on the palate. Beautifully ripe, seamlessly smooth, layered, nuanced, lifted acidity, impeccably balanced with some taunt, yet ripe tannins on the back palate. With about an hour of aeration, the range and intensity of the wine is magnified. It'll age gracefully for another decade. Produced from low yield, high density, seventy-year-old vines from a raised elevation vineyard site. Not fined or filtered. A wine with the “it factor”!"

"Morgon new-comer Jonathan Pey is to be followed if this inaugural vintage is any indication of what is to come. This organically-farmed wine from 71-year-old vines grown on pink-granite soil has a complex nose of dried-crushed blackberry, a dollop of raspberry puree, oolong tea, pencil shavings, dried grape stem and forest floor. Subtlety is this wine's love language with some background herbal notes piercing the veil of fruit at occasional moments along the length of the taste."

"A firm and slightly austere Morgon with hints of cacao and ash to the fresh berry fruit, alongside a touch of tobacco. Focused and medium-bodied with chalky tannins and a long, firm finish. Try from 2025."

“A bright, vibrant, delicious style, with a fragrant thread of dried rose petal, violet and dusty earth overlaying sweet notes of wild raspberry and dried strawberry. Shows harmony and integration, offering graphite energy from start to finish. Anise, smoke and dried herb hints arrive on the medium-length, snappy close.”
